The FIFA 17 demo details appear to have been leaked early! A recent screenshot, circulating throughout the FUT community, shows a brand new game mode called “The Journey”, featuring Alex Hunter. It initially appeared that the FIFA 17 demo would include a new game mode called FUT 5-A-SIDE, however this doesn’t appear to be the case.

FIFA 17 Demo – The Journey Screenshot
UPDATE: We’re now seeing this image circulating of the FIFA 17 demo, showing the new gamemode, The Journey. This is where you’ll be able to make decisions on and off the pitch to guide Alex Hunter through his career.
Original Demo Leak
Initial concerns about this image showing old generation platforms were not warranted, as it has now been confirmed that FIFA 17 will debut for the Xbox One, 360, PlayStation 4, PS3 and PC, in September of this year.
However it’s now looking like an excellent photoshop attempt in light of the latest news for FIFA 17. In this image, the usual demo clubs are included with the addition of Leicester, Ajax and Women’s Club Teams from the MLS.
The image shows the FIFA 17 demo starting September 8th-10th, with the release date subject to change without notice. We’ve predicted a release date of Tuesday, September 13th, 2016, which isn’t far from the images. We’ll probably have the demo details confirmed by EA very soon.
FUT 5-A-SIDE Game Mode
What’s most significant in the image is the addition of a BRAND NEW FUT 5-A-SIDE game mode. We can envisage FUT 5-A-SIDE working similarly to FIFA street, where you can unlock better players as you progress, earning coins and items along the way.
The theme so far from FIFA 17 seems to be that change is good (new Frostbite Engine, new innovations, new cover stars, The Journey gamemode etc). Get some hype behind this game mode as it would definitely be a game changer in the future!
